Pittsburgh Electronic Musicians

We’re just starting to firm up our line-up for the ElectroShowDown 5, it should be our best one yet.  It will take place on April 7th at 10PM in the WPU Kurtzman Room and will last until 1:30AM.  Free entry to all.

10:30 - Freaky Tea - SynthPop
11:00 - Vanby - electro, progressive house
11:30 - RIVKA - experimental
12:30 - Cutups & Keebs - Lazercrunk - anything goes dance music madness

The Pittsburgh Electronic Musicians are back in business, with meetings on the first and third Mondays of the month at 9PM in CL 204.  Spread the word with our new, fresh off the photoshop flyer.  Tell your friends.

Bonus points goes to anyone who can tell which 2011 album provided the inspiration for this poster.

The Pittsburgh Electronic Musicians and the Late Nite Mini Grant will be hosting a free event on November 19th.  Featuring GRiZ http://soundcloud.com/griz_music , the up and coming mashup/glitch-hop/bass music maven who has had 3 number 1 tracks on soundcloud in the past 3 months.  And Degree-Z http://soundcloud.com/degree-z , a dubstep/dub/glitch-hop super-producer from Pittsburgh.  Event free, and open to all.

The Pittsburgh Electronic Musicians are migrating to Monday nights, and to a bi-weekly (every other week) format.  We hope this will accommodate some of our older members, and make way for some new ones.  

The Meetings will still be at 9PM in the Cathedral of Learning Room 204, and will last about an hour.  We’re working hard to bring you the best guest speakers, workshops, and live performers possible.
